Is it safe for groups?
Very safe. Stick to the main areas (Gueliz, Hivernage), use official taxis, and respect local customs. Tourist areas are well-policed and venues are professional.
What about the drinking culture?
Morocco is Muslim but Marrakech is very cosmopolitan. Alcohol is widely available in tourist venues, bars, clubs, and restaurants. Just don't drink in the streets or mosques.
Best time to visit?
March-May and September-November are perfect (25°C). Summer is hot but clubs have AC. Winter is mild and quieter.
