Pétanque Social Club is the latest venture from Kamal Laftimi — the restaurateur behind Café des Épices, Le Jardin, and Nomad — occupying a historic 1930s pétanque club behind an Art Deco cinema on Boulevard El Mansour Eddahbi. Restored using recycled and upcycled original materials, the space unfolds across a wooded jasmine-scented courtyard, a 1930s-inspired Art Déco bar, a curated library, and Berber lounges furnished with vintage La Mamounia chairs. The all-day Mediterranean-Moroccan menu features cocktails curated by Giles Looker of Soulshakers — try the signature Sahara Spritz (desert rose, saffron, Campari).
